An easy circular walk around Packwood House estate and the surrounding countryside, going through the park, past the moated Packwood Hall (private) and up to the pretty St Giles' Church.

On this walk you will encounter some slightly uneven sections, some steps, kissing gates and stiles. The field paths may be boggy following wet weather and could be overgrown at certain times of the year. Toilets and refreshments are available at the visitor centre of Packwood House. The car park has gates which are locked at 5:30pm in the summer but earlier in the winter.

The start and end of this walk is the free car park at the National Trust property of Packwood House. The address and post code are Packwood House, Packwood Lane, Lapworth, B94 6AT. Packwood House is 2 miles east of Hockley Heath (on A3400), 11 miles south east of central Birmingham. It is also easily reached from the M42 exit 5 signed Solihull. At the roundabout, take the exit signed Knowle/A4141 Warwick Rd, continue to follow A4141 onto Norton Green Lane, then a sharp right turn onto Darley Green Rd continuing onto Packwood Road then Packwood Lane.

Turn right at the junction and after a short distance go up a short flight of steps on the right and take the footpath (which is slightly hidden in the hedge). Follow the waymarker posts on the path between a fence and trees. Follow this path for a short distance over a wooden boardwalk and through a kissing gate. Continue across the field veering right to pass through another kissing gate (slightly hidden in the hedge). This leads you into the grounds of Packwood House. Turn left and follow the waymarker posts until you reach a kissing gate out to Grove Lane.
