This is a circular walk encompassing a small section of Swinley Forest. The walk follows some clear paths, although these can become muddy during the winter.
There are a couple of small hills but the rest of the walk is flat and there are no stiles.

You might be lucky enough to witness one of the Alaskan Malamute dog sled trials in the wood which are held a couple of times a year in this section of the wood.

The walk starts on Woodlands Ride, Ascot SL5. There is parking along the Woodlands Ride, close to the entrance gate.

The start of the walk is approximately 5 minutes drive from Ascot train station. Head south along Bockenhurst Road. Turn right at Coronation Road and right again onto Woodlands Ride. The entrance to this section of the walk is at the bottom of this road on the left.

Perfunctory woodland walk which would only be acceptable in dry conditions
