A classic 6 mile circular walk around a limestone headland. The route takes you through a park, by Llandudno pier and along a quiet toll road (for cars) and includes dramatic cliff views. The walk is easy to join at most sections however parking can be difficult. The easiest parking can be found along Abbey Road and its side roads. There are a number of gates on the route and most of the route is solid underfoot.

Park near the junction of Great Ormes Road and Abbey Road LL30 2EN in LLandudno. This area can be busy in summer, however there is always parking away from the coast roads. The Great Orme is a prominent limestone headland and is an easy landmark to head for. The walk starts from a footpath at the side of St David's Hospice and this heads up to a well-trodden path running along the side of the Orme. Once you reach this path turn right to start a circular walk around the Orme.

If you've taken the path (rather than the road), walk along this path and look out for a shelter and marker for a path to the summit on your left. The path back down to Abbey Road is on the right, heading away from the summit.
