On 21 April 2012, The Times on Saturday published its Top 12 Really Smart Money Saving Apps. We were delighted to find that iFootpath came in at number 4 on the list.
Whilst saving money might not be an obvious reason to use iFootpath, Mark Bridge of The Times explains, 'Walking is a great free way to boost your fitness. This app enables you to download free walking guides, from town trails to countryside rambles. You can avoid any wrong turns by following your real-time progress along the route on a live map. The guides are illustrated with photos and feature directions, plus background on local history and points of interest.'
And who are we to argue? I'd much rather be walking outdoors than spending time (and money!) indoors at a gym. Thank you to The Times for the recommendation.
