 The first time you start iFootpath on your iPhone or iPod touch it will ask you to go to the iFootpath Store to download walking guides. However, before you can download guides you need to setup a partnership between your device and the iFootpath website.
First register on iFootpath.com:
- If you have not already done so go to iFootpath.com to create an account by entering the details requested. Your email address and details will not be passed to any third party.
- Log into iFootpath.com by entering your Username and Password in the Login box on the left hand side of the screen.
- Select iFootpath Mobile from the menus. This will ask you to enter a 4 digit PIN that will be used to identify you and establish a connection when you access the website from your iPhone or iPod Touch. Please read and accept the Terms of Use and click the save button.
Now on your iPhone or iPod Touch:
(Please note you will need an Internet connection to setup the initial connection and download walking guides to your device)
- Start up iFootpath on your device. Once loaded you will get a message telling you that your Walk Library is empty, tap OK.
- Now tap on the “Store” button in the top right hand corner. A screen will be displayed asking you to enter your credentials:
- Enter your user name exactly as you entered it when creating your iFootpath account. Enter the 4 digit PIN you saved above and tap the “Save” button. iFootpath will verify the details with iFootpath.com and save this.
- The Walk Store will then be displayed. Browse through the walks available, click on any to read more and tap the download button if you want to download the walk to your device.
You can download as many walks as you like then take them with you to use as a walking guide (subject to having sufficient free space on your device). If you do not find any walks that interest you please consider adding your favourite walks to the library for others to enjoy.
