Inspiring Views in the Surrey Hills

Inspiring Views in the Surrey Hills

iFootpath is proud to be the walking guides partner for an exciting arts project in the Surrey Hills. During Summer 2016 a number of striking looking sculptures popped up along the Greensand Way. These distinct pieces of art are part of the Inspiring Views project delivered by Surrey Hills Arts. Funded through the Mittal Foundation, this project has worked with landowners to open up hidden views along the Greensand Way, improve access and commission artists to interpret the views through art, poetry and sound.

Sussex Hospices Trail Collection

Sussex Hospices Trail Collection

iFootpath has teamed up with Friends of Sussex Hospices to create a trail dedicated to raising awareness of the work of the hospices in Sussex. The Sussex Hospices Trail is a 200 mile (320km) circular long distance path that starts and ends in Chichester. Using existing footpaths and bridleways, the trail guides walkers on an exciting, rewarding and sometimes exhilarating journey around the Sussex countryside. It is the perfect way of experiencing all that Sussex has to offer, from seaside promenades to riverside pastures and tranquil woodlands to the bracing tops of the South Downs. The variety of the route is a real treat and there are lots of landmarks to visit along the way too. If you’ve ever fancied visiting Arundel Castle, Battle Abbey, Brighton’s i360, Glorious Goodwood or Chichester Cathedral then this is a great opportunity to do just that.

Love pubs? Love walking? Read on…

Love pubs? Love walking? Read on…

We have created a circular walk from each of these pubs below, which cunningly culminates in the pub itself. Each pub has its own style and flavour, though you'll find good cask beers, freshly cooked food, decent and affordable wine and a good shelf of malt whiskies throughout. They are all informal places for people who like to meet, eat, drink and talk in a relaxed friendly atmosphere.
