Let iFootpath guide you to some Inspiring Views

Inspiring Views in the Surrey Hills

iFootpath is proud to be the walking guides partner for an exciting arts project in the Surrey Hills. During Summer 2016 a number of striking looking sculptures popped up along the Greensand Way. These distinct pieces of art are part of the Inspiring Views project delivered by Surrey Hills Arts. Funded through the Mittal Foundation, this project has worked with landowners to open up hidden views along the Greensand Way, improve access and commission artists to interpret the views through art, poetry and sound.

iFootpath has teamed up with Surrey County Council to bring you the Explore Surrey collection. This collection of 51 digital walking guides takes in the best of Surrey's glorious countryside. Whether you're an adventurous walker or someone who prefers a short stroll, there's a walk to suit you. The routes have been hand-picked by Surrey County Council's countryside team, giving you a true flavour of the diversity, beauty and splendour of the county. You will discover ancient woodlands, chalk downland, meandering rivers, expansive vineyards, sweeping valleys, historic parkland and beautiful villages. There is plenty of historical interest along the way too. From gunpowder mills and semaphore towers, mills and pillboxes to historic churches and majestic stately homes, you may be surprised at how much there is to discover on your doorstep.

Guildford WalkFest 2014 runs from 12 to 27 July 2014. In its eighth consecutive year, this walking festival is aimed at raising awareness of Guildford's attractions and beautiful countryside including the Surrey Hills AONB. Four walks from the Dabbling Duck cafe, Shere, Surrey

We have created four walks from the Dabling Duck cafe in Shere, Surrey. Shere is located between Guildford and Dorking, just south of the A25. The Dabbling Duck is a great place to meet up for breakfast, morning coffee, lunch or afternoon tea. The welcome is warm and the food is a treat.
