A very cosy thatched holiday cottage in the quiet and unspoilt coastal area of the Strategic Rural Gap at Climping, West Sussex.

Climping Cottage is ideal for a break away from it all, a holiday cottage only a few minutes stroll straight from the gate across the fields to the unspoilt Climping Beach and just down the lane from Bailiffscourt Hotel & Spa the Black Horse pub and the local farm shop.

Climping is a truly wonderful location for relaxing country breaks on the South Coast only just over an hour by car from London. Also, the weather tends to be better than many other areas in the UK, as Climping experiences its own micro-climate because of the shape of the coastline, the sea breezes and the proximity of the South Downs.

Although this semi-detached cottage is absolutely ideal as self catering accommodation, it is also well placed if you would like someone else to do the cooking and washing up when you're on holiday. All within easy walking distance, there are many lovely dining destinations, such as Bailiffscourt Hotel, The Black Horse Inn, Climping Beach Cafe, West Beach Cafe and the Oystercatcher Pub, all of which provide excellent and varied styles of meals and atmospheres.

For family groups, Climping Cottage is one of the larger self catering holiday cottages in Sussex, with three bedrooms, two bathrooms, kitchen/dining room and sitting room. More details

There is plenty to do locally, with the beach so close, the local Roman history, stately homes and gardens and wonderful woodland and downland walks. The local attractions are plentiful and suitable for all ages.Climping Cottage is close to Arundel, Littlehampton and Chichester and is convenient for events at both Goodwood and Fontwell. More details

For those travelling to the UK from overseas, London is only 1 1/2 hours away on the train.

We are pet friendly at Climping Cottage and your dogs and cats are very welcome to share the holiday cottage downstairs and actually we do not limit the number of dogs.....within reason! Local walks are very dog friendly and you can go directly from the front gate onto the footpath to the small local woods or to the beach which together with the local Black Horse pub are both dog friendly.

Also, there is a secure cottage garden at the front and rear of the cottage for your private use.

We also provide free wifi.
