Hidden in the spectacular Peak District hills between Ashbourne and Bakewell, Hoe Grange Holidays offers four stylish and spacious self-catering log cabins.

Open all year, our cosy log cabins and gorgeous glamping pods are truly “home from home”; luxurious 4 star Gold and fully equipped with everything you need for a relaxing and memorable holiday. A short break, a full week, or an extended holiday, the choice is yours.

Our Farm

Hoe Grange Farm is a traditional, 250 acre, beef and sheep farm on the edge of the Peak District National Park, and has been in the Brown family for over 60 years.

David and Felicity now run their Peak District farm along eco principles using conservation grazing techniques and minimal use of artificial fertilizers, to encourage a wide variety of native plants and animals.

The Peak District is a treasure trove of flora and fauna. At certain times of year you can see rare plants such as orchids and cowslips as well as birds such as buzzards, kestrels swallows and skylarks, and wildlife like foxes, badgers, hares and weasels.

Remember to bring your wellies - Whether you are young or old, you can enjoy a little of the good life whilst staying at Hoe Grange.

Help Felicity or David feeding the chickens and horses all year round. In the spring there may be baby lambs to feed and young calves to see in the fields. For some of the year, we have free range pigs who all need feeding. You can see the tractors and if you ask nicely we might let you sit in one. Sorry, you cannot drive it or go for a ride as it’s against the law – but you can spend hours “driving” the wooden toy tractor in the play area!

Our Cabins

Open all year, we invite you to enjoy a relaxing holiday in one of four contemporary, award winning log cabins, set on our family farm in the spectacular Derbyshire Peak District countryside.

Our cosy log cabins provide the ideal rural location for families, couples, larger groups of friends and family as well as those with additional access needs. Young children will love meeting the farm animals, collecting the eggs and learning all about country life.

The cabins are suitable for all ages. Excellent access makes them ideal for guests with limited mobility and wheelchair users. For more details see our Accessible Holidays page.

Please note we advise all guests to take out cancellation protection insurance in case of unforeseen, last minute cancellations.

As part of the Welcome Walkers and Cyclists schemes we provide washing and drying facilities for wet outdoor clothes, information and maps on local routes, and secure bike storage.

As part of the Families Welcome scheme we provide free travel cot and highchair, toys, games and books and information on local attractions and events suitable for all ages.

Children and adults alike are welcome to help feed the animals, collect the eggs and find out all about modern farming.

Gorgeous Glamping

Experience glamping in our new luxury camping pods at Hoe Grange Farm in the stunning Peak District, with everything you need wrapped up in oodles of style.

Our glamping pod is not just like a wooden tent, but more of a chic mini cabin just for two, with the added luxury of your own bathroom and kitchen facilities.

A cosy room with a view, our new timber camping pods are fully insulated and double glazed with cutting edge infa-red heating making them a much warmer camping experience than sleeping in a chilly canvas tent!

You can relax on the little decking area, watch the wildlife and delight in the dark starry skies.

Our gorgeous luxury glamping pods are built to a high standard with everything you need for a relaxing holiday break. There is a comfortable double sofa bed, a sweet little contemporary kitchenette with hob, microwave, fridge, and even a kitchen sink, so that you can cook your own meals during your stay. They include lighting and heating and the opportunity to charge a phone/laptop.

No need to trudge over the fields in the dead of night to go to the toilet, each pod is fitted with a luxury shower room and toilet, and even a heated rail to warm your towels.
