Venture 20 minutes drive for fabulous beaches and hill walking.
The cottage is positioned only 2 minutes drive from the A9, which is the main North route and on the North Coast 500 but is set away from the road so it is quiet, peaceful and safe.
Inside the cottage are 2 bedrooms - the master bedroom has a super king bed and is spacious with a bay window feature and a triple wardrobe. The second bedroom has 2 single beds that can be put together as a super king if required, this is also a spacious room with double aspect windows and a double wardrobe.
There is one family bathroom with shower over the bath.

The kitchen is well equipped with dishwasher and microwave etc. There is also a boot/utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer.

There is plenty to do close by with 2 golf courses just 5 minutes drive away in Invergordon and Alness and the Famous Royal Dornoch Golf Course only 30 minutes drive.
We are in the heart of whisky country, with 3 distilleries in Invergordon and Alness all producing famous malts. A little further afield in Tain is Glenmorangie distillery.
Just a 2-minute walk there is a garden centre and gift shop and also the 4 star hotel The Kincraig Castle Hotel, serving bar meals, a la carte food and drink. Just 10 minutes walk is Tomich café serving breakfasts, lunches and coffee.
Invergordon and Alness both have a lovely range of little bespoke shops as well as several larger supermarkets.
Locally there is horse riding, stocked fishing lochs just behind the cottage and the crafting trail starts just along the road. Both Invergordon and Alness have leisure centres for fitness fanatics.
Wonderful walking and hill walking are close by and amazing beaches are just a short drive away. The Highlands are known for stunning wildlife and scenery and the Bottlenose dolphins can be seen off the coast in this area. We frequently have birds of prey such as buzzards and red kites overhead in the surrounding fields.
The best way to stay is with a car, as you will have the freedom to come and go as you please.
The railway stations in Invergordon and Alness are about a 5/10 minute taxi ride away and the railway connects from Inverness right up the East coast North to Thurso.
Buses are also available from North and South to Inverness from Invergordon and Alness.
