Just five miles north of Land's End, this Youth Hostel accommodation is a great place for an activity break or to relax after exploring west Cornwall’s many attractions. The famous signpost and tourist hotspot of mainland Britain’s most south-westerly point are but five miles south, yet you wouldn’t know it. Cradled in the peaceful Cot Valley, YHA Land’s End offers a tranquil spot far from the madding crowd.
YHA Land's End is tucked away with fine views to the sea and a five minute walk to the South West Coast Path - perfect for a value family break. We're more than just a swell view of the Atlantic; beaches and the great countryside are nearby, so we're equally good for surfing breaks, birdwatching and walking holidays.
Cape Cornwall is just a 30 minute walk away if you want to admire the spectacular view from the NCI lookout station. Or head for the hills and explore the Penwith Moors - there are some amazing stone circles and Iron Age villages along the way. Whether you want to learn about the historical mining locations made famous in Poldark or just relax on a sublime beach, we're a one-stop location for paradise.

There are 33/36 beds across nine bedrooms – 1 x two bed bunk room, 2 x double/triple rooms (double bed with single bunk above) 3 x four bed bunk rooms, 1 x four bed bunk room en-suite, 1 x five/six bed room (with one double bed and two bunk beds) and 1 x six bed bunk room. There is also camping for up to 12 people on the garden, including a Bell tent that sleeps up to five people (with three single and one double bed) in July and August.
YHA Land's End is open every day until 1st November 2016 for individuals, families and groups. Advance booking is recommended. For winter opening including Exclusive Hire please check the Need to Know section below.
Please note that camping is sold per person and not per pitch and so, during the booking process, you will need to select the number of people that you wish to camp.
Camp out on the front lawn of YHA Land's End surrounded by breath-taking views of the Atlantic Ocean and the beautiful sunset. This small camping area is well sheltered with easy access to facilities and the main Youth Hostel building with its lounge and dining room. The site can accommodate up to 12 people and is suitable for organised groups, individual travellers and families. With a small but perfectly formed camping area out front, a well-stocked bar, space for BBQs and sweeping views of the ocean, you’d be forgiven for simply pitching up and staying put!

There is a licensed bar on site serving cold beers, local ales and wine.
Campers can wake up to a delicious full cooked breakfast or indulge in the Supper Club evening meal.
Campers can use all of the Youth Hostel's facilities and also have an extra toilet, sink and shower closer to the camping ground.
Campers also have access to the main Youth Hostel self-catering kitchen as well as a campers' kitchen with an extra fridge, microwave, kettle and sink which is closer to the camping ground.
Campers are welcome to use small BBQs and will be provided with blocks to stand them on.
The main car park is at the rear of the Youth Hostel, about a 50m walk from the camping area.

The YHA Land's End campsite is for tents only, camper vans are not permitted on the site. Campfires are strictly prohibited.
Get all the fun of camping but without any of the set up stresses with these beautiful bell tents - part of the YHA Glamping experience. These spacious tepee-like tents are fully kitted out with a double futon bed and single futons plus all bedding and can sleep four/five people. They also have eco-friendly solar lighting and comfy bean bags for you to chill out on during the day plus bedside tables, a coffee table, rugs and soft flooring.

Hire the whole place
This hostel is occasionally made available for hire on an exclusive basis. This means that you can have the place to yourself and choose how many of your friends, family, club mates, etc., join you. We allocate availability for exclusive use in blocks, typically up to 90 days in the future. If you are looking for space to stay with us on a normal shared basis, and can’t see any availability three months or more into the future, then this hostel may be being held for Exclusive Hire. Start your day the Cornwall way with our delicious breakfast which includes a hot full English option and a cold continental buffet with a selection of hot drinks and fruit juices. We can provide a packed lunch including a freshly prepared sandwich, a delicious cake, cereal bar, a bottle of mineral water, a packet of crisps and a piece of fresh fruit. Eat in the hostel or take your packed lunch with you to enjoy during your day of exploring.
Join us for our Supper Club evening meal in the dining room. Supper Club is a set meal (with vegetarian option) served at 7pm. Supper Club is open to the public as well as guests so please make sure that you let us know by 6.30pm if you plan on having dinner and we'll make sure we've got plenty. Our sea views from the dining room are hard to beat too!

One free children's meal is available per adult main meal from the main menu when purchased at the same time. This offer is not available on breakfast.
