YHA Perranporth is a small and friendly hostel, situated in a stunning cliff-top location with spectacular views of the Atlantic Ocean and two and a half miles of sandy beach. So if you’d like to go surfing, body boarding, kayaking, coasteering and or just go for a gentle stroll along the South West Coast Path this offers the perfect getaway!
FREE WI-FI available in communal areas for our guests.
There are two small four bedded rooms and two larger eight bedded rooms with sea views. There is also one cliff top camping pitch when the weather's fine!
Our welcoming open plan lounge and dining room provides a tranquil places to relax by the sea on the window seat, sofas and comfy chairs. Sorry, but due to its clifftop location the hostel is not suitable for under 3s.
If you want to get closer to nature, YHA Perranporth has a slightly sloping fenced lawn in front of the main building. There is space for one small, robust two person tent. It’s in a very exposed cliff-top location, 180ft above the Atlantic Ocean. So when it’s windy and the sea’s rough it can be a rather extreme camping pitch, not for the faint hearted!
Camping is only bookable by calling the hostel directly 01872 573812. If there’s a local low pressure we also recommend giving us a call the day before to check the weather and swell forecast. Standard booking Terms & Conditions apply. Please bring all your own camping equipment. Campers are welcome to use the hostels facilities.
