At stage 3 from 4 wooden posts the path is overgrown with stinging nettles as of May 2018. No good if you are in shorts. The entrance to the path is easy to miss. Take a shortcut at the marked footpath a short distance before it.

Have completed this walk many times. Can I suggest a little diversion too: at Waymark Three turn right instead of left and visit Salhouse Church. It's well worth a visit. It can be seen from Waymark Three. Then just retrace your steps back. PAE
