A 4 mile circular pub walk from Ye Olde George Inn in East Meon. A delightful, scenic and undulating mid Sussex walk with great views to the South Downs. Open downland, wooded paths, quiet lanes and the chance of seeing red kites.

The paths are a mixture of field edge paths and stone tracks, some of which can get very muddy after wet weather. There are several slopes throughout and you will need to negotiate 5 kissing gates and 2 stiles. Approximate time 80-100 minutes.

The walk starts and finishes at Ye Olde George Inn on Church Street in East Meon. East Meon can be accessed via the A3 or the A32 and is about 4 miles west of Petersfield. Approximate post code GU32 1NH.

No food served between 3&6pm on sunday. We went to the Issak Walton for food instead and it was a lovely end to a beautiful sunny afternoons walk.

Nice walk with some good views. Quite a steep climb after about a mile and a slippery chalk and loose flint stone path going down hill on the return leg but otherwise a gentle walk. Public car Parking is not great and the pub car park is small and can get congested on week end or bank holidays. I had to reverse out around some tight and narrow bends as there was no turning space.
