The pub is now called The Golden Fox. We attempted this walk today, and as it was very hot we were wearing shorts. This is not to be advised as a lot of the walk is very overgrown and some areas have a lot of nettles, making it virtually impassable if you wearing shorts.

ADMIN RESPONSE: Thanks for letting us know about the latest pub name change, we have updated the guide to include this. We wouldn't advise wearing shorts in summer for our walks - long but lightweight trousers are always the best bet for staying cool whilst protecting you from nettles and also insect bites...

Route exceptionally easy to follow. This is my first walk with iFootpath. I don't normally do new walks on my own with my dog as I have no sense of direction and get lost but this walk was a pleasure to follow. Bit overgrown in one place but not challenging. Thank you

Busy cut through road for first part. Good for claws on dogs! Nice trails for next few miles but some obvious fly tipping. If only I needed a lawn mower or a child blow up pool. Last bit towards Sturminster Marshal the best. Mmmm.. this walk needs some work!
