A 4.5 mile (7km) circular pub walk from The Blackboys Inn near Framfield in East Sussex. The walk takes you across fields and along country lanes around Blackboys, passing an old watermill and a Woodland Trust site. This walk is one of a collection published through a collaboration between iFootpath and East Sussex County Council.

The terrain is fairly easy and follows a mixture of lanes and field paths. You will need to negotiate several gates, footbridges, steps and two fence stiles (which dogs may need a lift over). There are two road crossings that need care and a few stretches of road walking along country lanes. Most of the paths are enclosed or over crop fields, but you may encounter horses or livestock in a couple of places. The section after Newplace Farm is prone to flooding after periods of heavy rain. Allow 2.5 hours.

The walk starts and finishes at The Blackboys Inn pub on the corner of School Lane and the B2192 road. If you are taking refreshments before or after your walk, the pub has its own car park. Approximate post code TN22 5LG.

Continue to follow the surfaced path along the edge of the recreation ground, and past the cottages, to reach the High Street.

Cross the road and continue along the enclosed path, signposted almost opposite. Follow the path through the allotments, bearing left at the signposted path junction, to reach a lane. some beautiful places on this walk, the only thing i would say, be a bit nicer if there was a few less lanes to walk down and more fields, however still a lovely walk to do especially in summer.

I did the Blackboys Inn and Tickerage Mill walk yesterday and there are a couple of changes. On the section Tickerage Mill to Pound lane the kissing gate is no longer there and a new stile leads out to Pound Lane. The Newplace farm to Bushbury lane was basically underwater due to so much rain. Also the Bushbury lane hollow lane section - the stile has been replaced by a gate.
