This is a 6 mile circular walk from the Oxfordshire hamlet of Chilson. The route is along field paths, woodland tracks and quiet country roads. The walk is mostly flat but there is a fairly long uphill section. You will need to negotiate some gates, but there are no stiles or livestock on route. There are no refreshments available directly on the walk, but a short detour can be made to the pub in Ascott-under-Wychwood. There are some fine views over the rolling Cotswold hills. Allow 3 hours.

The walk starts and ends at the small village green in Chilson, approximate post code OX7 3HU. Parking is available by the green. If you are coming by train, Ascott-under-Wychwood rail station is just a 0.3 mile walk from Waypoint 6 on London Lane, so the walk can be adjusted to start and finish there.
