Trail Part 15: In Memory of Michael Laurence Whitehead by Felicity Whitehead

Part 15 of the Sussex Hospices Trail has been kindly sponsored by Felicity Whitehead in memory of Lieutenant Colonel Michael Laurence Whitehead.

michaelwhitehead

Sponsored in loving memory of

Lieutenant Colonel Michael Laurence Whitehead

Sixth Queen Elizabeth's Own Gurkha Rifles

18th March 1938 - 17th December 1993

This particular walk means a great to his family as Michael's work in London involved a regular journey from Etchingham Station to his home in Burwash Weald. When he became ill the kindness and helpfulness of the staff at Hospice in the Weald was greatly appreciated.
